Interactive Whiteboard Manufacturer IKAR Publishes Its 2026 Certificates: ISO 9001, EU RED, FCC and RoHS

Between February and April 2026, IKAR (Xingyicheng (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd.), an interactive whiteboard manufacturer in Guangdong, China, received four certificates covering its interactive flat panel range. They are ISO 9001:2015, an EU Radio Equipment Directive EU-type examination certificate from Notified Body 2618, FCC grants for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and an EU RoHS certificate. Each reference below can be checked with its issuer before you sign.

What each certificate means for an importer or a school tender

ISO 9001:2015 certifies the factory's quality management system. It does not certify a single product. In a tender, check two points: the certificate is in date on the closing day, and the scope covers production, not only trading. IKAR's scope names R&D, production and assembly, and it runs to April 2029.

EU RED EU-type examination. A panel with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is radio equipment, so Directive 2014/53/EU applies before it can be sold in the EU. Under Module B a notified body examines the technical design and issues the EU-type examination certificate. The manufacturer's EU declaration of conformity then refers to it. Check the model list: your model must be on it.

FCC grants. In the USA, a device with a radio transmitter needs FCC equipment authorization before it is marketed. IKAR's February 2026 grants cover the Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi radios. Each grant is public, so a US importer can look it up by FCC ID in the FCC database.

EU RoHS. RoHS limits ten hazardous substances in electrical equipment, including lead, mercury, cadmium and the four phthalates added by Directive (EU) 2015/863. An EU importer needs RoHS conformity before placing the panel on the market.

Documents to ask any interactive whiteboard manufacturer for

• A full copy of each certificate with reference, issuer and date visible.
• The ISO 9001 scope page. It should name your product type and production.
• The model list attached to the RED certificate, with your exact model on it.
• The test reports behind each certificate, not only the certificate page.
• The FCC ID for each radio, so you can check the grant yourself.
• The RoHS report reference and the product range it covers.
• For any other mark your tender requires, the certificate itself. A claim without a document is unverified.

Check every reference with the issuer before you sign. If the issuer cannot find it, stop. If your tender needs a mark that is not in the table above, ask IKAR before you bid.

The certificates apply to the smart interactive whiteboard range, including the 86 inch interactive flat panel and the 55 inch interactive panel. The Stand By Me TV portable smart screens sit on the same RED model list and hold their own CE-RED certificate, FCS202605230CA01. On the October 2026 EXW list, a 65 inch E5 series panel starts at $514, a 75 inch at $610 and an 86 inch at $748 (neutral brand, 1-year warranty, confirm before ordering). Lead time is 7-9 days on EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms.

FAQ

Is ISO 9001 enough for a school tender? Usually not on its own. ISO 9001 shows the factory runs a controlled quality system, but tenders also ask for product evidence: a CE or RED certificate for Europe, FCC grants for the USA and RoHS proof. Bring all of them, check every date against the closing day, and make sure each model list includes the model you bid.

Does the RED certificate cover the Stand By Me TV? Yes. The model list on EU-type examination certificate 2618-RED-0154 covers the interactive panel range and the portable smart screen series. The Stand By Me TV range also has its own CE-RED certificate of conformity, FCS202605230CA01 (June 2026), and an EU RoHS 2.0 certificate, TST26235100288CC, dated 17 June 2026.
